I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. A big thank you to all who had to work over the Holiday.
As promised this post will announce the date of our drawing!
I got to enjoy family, which is one of my favorite things to do. We, of course, ate too much, sharpened our Cribbage and movie-watching skills and laughed often. All in all we created some great memories.
Let's take a moment to thank and remember those who sacrifice everyday to keep our country safe and protect our freedoms. So we thank those who serve in our armed forces at home and abroad and their families, who sacrifice right along with them.
Now back to the drawing. As stated before, members of my household are excluded from participating. Here's the rest: One winner will be chosen from among those who follow and post to this blog. If you have tried and are still unable to post please send your post in the body of an email to siskiyouwoman@gmail.com please include login name you want to display and I will post for you (this one time) and it will serve as your entry.

These are exquisite and handcrafted by Michael and each one is truly unique. Dear Blog: I have a question. Why is it that the more I do in the way of domestic chores, the more I find there is to do! Is there some kind of advanced mathmatical formula that I don't know about? Expanding on this problem, I would point out that the same devilish formula must apply to at least several other situations. Like, how come I got more done in the home when I worked outside the home than I do now when I am retired. I don't want to hear an answer that has to do with me getting old. Again, I only want to get the mathmatical formula so I can get it "fixed" by a mathmatical genious I happen to know! I promise to share the knowledge with all of you who are (or should be) following this blog. Thankyou for letting me vent on my very first blog adventure. I feel better. Judy H. (Oh, oh.
